happy first fathers day! if scarlett could talk im sure she would say you make her laugh the most and she loves saturday mornings with you. she would say she loves the way you treat her mom and the constant love that is in our home. she would tell you she is thankful for you and proud of you. i will tell you that you are the most amazing dad. you keep my old soul young you make me laugh until i cry, daily! you are as weird as i am. you make me want to be a better everything, a better wife, mom, sibling, daughter, friend, neighbor, employee, and stranger. i aspire to be as good of a person as you are. you are so selfless, giving, thoughtful, and helpful. you never cease to amaze me with your words or actions or the way you love me so deeply and strongly. i am so grateful you are scarlett's dad because she will always have a best friend, provider, and protector in you. i will never stop telling you how much i love you, even when those words are twisted and sound more like "stop you are so annoying!" i still love you. i love literally jumping into your arms and kissing you when you get home from work. i love that you are my gym partner. i love talking about our hopes and dreams and building our future together. i love everything that makes you who you are. i can honestly say i fall more in love with you every single day. i love every struggle we face together and the grace that you handle them with. i love your sleepy goodnight kisses and the way you hold me while we sleep. i love the way you support me in everything i do, want to do, or try and fail or succeed at. you make me feel like the world is at my feet and the sky is the limit. you give me so much confidence and fill me with so much joy. you and scarlett make my world go round. and ever since we had her i feel a deeper love for you, a depth i didnt know existed. i know that getting where we are today has been EVERYTHING but easy. from the time we met all odds were against us being together but we made it work and every loss, every trial, every heartbreak that got me to you was SO worth it and yes i would do it all over again. i love you. i am in love with you. i will always love you. thanks for being the man i turn to for everything. thanks for being the best daddy to the most important girl in our life.

products I love

I dont know about you guys but I LOVE hearing about products {especially beauty products} people love and recommend. My sister Katie is a bit of a make up junkie {in a good way, swear}she got hooked on make up by this girl Jaclyn Hill, ever heard of her? if not look her up on youtube then you will find youself 4 hours later trying to highlight/contour your face off and buying out your nearest ulta store, or did that just happen to me? reguardless I'm hooked. I have always loved make up, I love getting ready for anything and everything. I love how wearing make up makes me feel and Im a girly girl so it strongly appeals to me. ANYWAY, I wanted to share with you guys some of my favorite make up products.

NYX butter gloss: I bought this in MERENGUE {as pictured below} I love a pink or a nude lip, that is pretty much all I have ever worn but this whole orchid, purpley, color is in right now so I went out on a whim and bought this, and now I am in love with it! I have it on right now actually. It goes on like a gloss but when it dries out a bit and sets its more like a lipstick but not as heavy. I LOOOOVVVEEE IT! I plan my outfits around this stuff so that I can wear it and I am going back to ulta today to buy MORE! because it is a pretty small tube and I want to try more colors...maybe, Im just so hooked on this one! aahhh the struggle. 

NYX photo loving primer: again with nyx? I know. But I started using primer maybe a year or two ago? and it changes EVERYTHING! seriously put it on before your foundation and you will see a HUGE difference. It makes applying foundation so much smoother, your skin is like silk the foundation slides right on and goes a lot further. I first used a smashbox primer and I loved it but paying like $30 was just not worth it so I found this one and it is like $8 I want to say? and I swear it is the exact same thing. I cant tell a difference between the two and although I have both the smashbox and NYX brand in my makeup collection right now I find myself reaching for this one more often! try it try it try it! you wont regret it.

Urban Decay: make up setting spray. Another game changer. My sister recommended this stuff to me. At first I just used it every once in awhile...but now I use it everyday! you just spray it on and it well...helps your make up set, keeps it in place, helps it last longer, keeps it from melting off on a hot day, or if you get wet etc. its a magic spray. They have different ones I use the long-lasting and I can go swimming and look in a mirror and my make up is still there EVERY GIRLS DREAM RIGHT!? and I believe it is $14

Marc Anthony: volumizing mousse. My hair lays pretty flat, and when I tease it up it doesnt hold all day so I decided to give this stuff a try and I like it. I wouldn't say I love it. The first day it works great, right after my shower I put it in and let it air dry and my hair looks great but the next day, by the end of the day even my hair is flat again. I want to try more volumizing mousse's but this is the first one I have used and its not bad! 

Thats all I have for now but I am going to ulta right after this....ssoooo expect more of these posts {totally inspired by my sister, im like 7 and still copy everything she does, whatever} ALSO big BIG BIG! things are happening right now you guys. Lots of stuff is going on that I cant wait to share, but right now is just not the time, hence the lack of posts on my part...I have been busy! and my life isnt THAT exciting. But once everything is set in stone you will know.

Going on plenty of walks with this baby beauty, now that the weather is so warm.

My brother in law Devin celebrated his birthday by having a bunch of his friends and family over at Mirror Lake Diner in Kamas where is brother Brandon is the cook. We had the whole place to ourselves and there was even a special menu just for Devin. It was DELICIOUS! Zac and I want to go back as soon as we can, so if you ever find yourself in Kamas for whatever reason you should seriously consider grabbing a bite to eat here. Plus it was adorable, as pictured above.

Over memorial day weekend Zac's parents rented this giant water slide! The weather was a little gloomy the first day and of course the water was freezing but we went down anyway, it was so much fun! We did it last year as well and plan on doing it again for the fourth of July! Scarlett even splashed her toes in the water....although she didnt really seem to care much for it. Zac's parents have two jack russel terriers and they loved the slide! they both went down and were swimming in the bottom!

On Memorial day we also went and visited Bekki. It had been too long thats for sure. When I found out I was pregnant I really wished Bekki was around because she was always my go to girl, and I like to think that Bekki and Scarlett hung out in heaven.

Zac and I have been going to the gym just about every day. And eventually I plan to do a post on my personal progress from pre-pregnancy, to post pregnancy to now. I have come a long ways and I am really proud of it but I am still not where I want to be. Fitness is something I have always loved and I get so inspired by others success or progress stories so I want to share mine.

My baby brother GRADUATED! all of us kids are grown up now and it is so weird but so fun! Kyle has always been my best friend since the day he was born and I will never be able to explain our relationship or how close we are but I am so proud of him and all he is doing! also Ryker {Bekki's little brother} graduated! he is the first kid in his family to graduate so that is HUGE! im so glad to have these great boys in my life.
